Remove wifi networks via regedit

If you’ve tried that and it did not make the removal permanent, perhaps deleting the relevant registry key will resolve it. Network information can be found under this registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\NetworkList\Profiles. The right pane contains the details, e.g. ProfileName is the Network Name (SSID).
