Quickbooks crashes on startup loading company file

Quickbooks Data Verification Tool
Important:You may see a warning. Download the file to your desktop and install the tool from your desktop.

Install the tool:
- If installation does not start automatically after downloading, double-click the Setup icon to start the setup wizard.
- In the Welcome to the QuickBooks Company File Diagnostic Tool Setup window, click the Nextbutton.
- Read the License Agreement and click I Agree.
- Click the Next button.
- Optional:
- Click Browse to change the installation folder from the default location.
- Choose the Everyone option if you want all users of this computer to be able to use the QuickBooks Company File Diagnostic Tool.
- Click the Next button.
- In the Confirm Installation window, click the Nextbutton again.
- Once the tool is successfully installed, click the Close button to exit the setup wizard.

Double-click the new QuickBooks Company File Diagnostic Tool icon on your desktop:
When the QuickBooks Company File Diagnostic Tool is launched, it will go online to check for any newer version available. If a newer version is available, click Yes to download and install the latest version. Then re launch the tool.

Click the Browse button and select the company file that needs to be diagnosed/repaired:
If you do not know where your company file is located, use Windows Search to find your file.

Select a Usage Information option:
- Click I am QuickBooks Customer, running tool independently if you are not working with a support agent.
- Click I am working with an Intuit Support Representative if you are working with a support agent. Enter the agent’s name in the Rep Name field.
- Click OK.

Enter the user name and password:
- If you never assigned a password to your company file, in the User Name field, enter Admin, and leave the password blank.
- Enter any user name established for this company file.
- If you have forgotten your password, use the Automated Password Reset Tool.

Open your file in QuickBooks:
- Once you have finished using the tool you can open your QuickBooks company file in QuickBooks.
- We recommend the verify and rebuild utilities and making a backup of your company file.
In some rare situations, you may continue to get Error -6130,0 when trying to open the file after initially running the tool. If you encounter this situation, you may need to run the tool a second time with one new step.
Note: We do not recommend using this option if you are not getting error -6130,0 when opening your company file.
- Launch the tool again.
- Click the Browse button to select the company file that needs to be diagnosed/repaired.
- Once you find your company file, select it and click Open.
- Click the About link in the upper right corner of the QuickBooks Company File Diagnostic Tool window.
- Select the Force 6130 fix checkbox and click OK.
- Click the Diagnose/Repair button, choose an option for working with a support representative or not, enter the user name and password, and click the Login button to begin the diagnosis and repair again.
If after running the QuickBooks Company File Diagnostic Tool you are still unable to open your company file, your support representative may need to send your company file to the Data Services team for repair.
