How to Change the New Look of QuickBooks 2013 Back to the Old Look

I keep forgetting to post this.

If you just can’t stand the new look of QuickBooks 2013, here’s how you can change it back to the old look:

1. Go to View and select Top Icon Bar. While you’re there, you might as well select Open Window LIst (couldn’t live without it!)

2. Go to Edit > Preferences > Desktop View and select Switch to colored icons/light backgroun on the Top Icon Bar. You can also choose a Company Flag Color to distinguish between your different company files (I like orange).

We stil can’t choose your own color scheme like we used too, but this coms very close to the old QuickBooks look and feel. Personally, I like it better than the old view.

However, I couldn’t stand the gray on black look. It was awful.
